Over the past decade El Paso County has completed planning for the Stapleton Road between Meridian Road and a new connection to Curtis Road. The links above are provided for download and review of  study finding for each of three Stapleton Road Corridor study phases that were completed in 2003 and 2013. A future west extension of Stapleton Road, with connection to Briargate Parkway, will provide direct connectivity between the Falcon Area and  Interstate 25.
